Baby Update, Disneyland, Summer!

First things first. We had our "official" 19 week ultrasound today. This would be when we normally found out we were having a boy, but my dad is awesome and found out for us at 15 weeks. According to his stats, his head is measuring about 20 weeks (90%) and his legs are measuring about 18 weeks 3 days (60%). I am sorry son, but both your parents are short and the truth of genetics is that you were probably going to get our short legs. You may not be a great basketball player, but there is always soccer and gymnastics :). The doctor said everything was looking really good! This is a shot our radiology tech took with the 3D probe. He was being a little camera shy while they were trying to look at his lips and brain. His arms are crossed and right infront of his face:

Here are some pictures from the happiest place on earth! It was Jared's first time experiencing this great adventure and it was so fun to watch him. It was my brother Ward's spring break from med school so he and his little girl Misa joined us for a few hours. It was so much to see them and to watch how excited she got about all the different things. I felt bad we ditched out early since my feet were really starting to hurt and I had a headache that did not want to go away. It was a great trip!

Jared would ride Winnie the Pooh, but I could not get him to ride Dumbo.

So, I have always wanted to get one of these! Whenever we went when I was little there was no way we would be able to afford it, but hey, "I'm a big kid now!" and I wanted one, so we got one :) What do you think?

The other excited bit of news is that school is done!! At least for the summer, and then 2 more classes and then I am really DONE! I never have to go back! Oh, how sweet that will be. Jared just has one more week of school and then finals week, which he does not to particpate in. Both of his professors is having everthing done by the last day of class. We are both so very excited! Jared will be done with his Bachelor of Economics degree and then hopefully Dental school will begin Fall 2011. That gives us year and a half of bascially no school for either one of us! It is a much welcome break. We get to enjoy this summer and then our sweet son will make his appearance by mid September (hopefully!). So many changes, but we are excited for each of them! And I am so excited to work on some projects I have been wanting to get to. My week from work will actually be a week off from work! (I work 7 nights in a row and then I get 7 nights off). We will be able to fit in lots of fun things!
